One of the newest venues in Fort Worth, the ‘Blackhouse’, is a creative space for artists, musicians, creators and entrepreneurs to gain exposure, network and collaborate.
Blackhouse was originally built in 1915, and is located in the historic Rock Island neighborhood. It officially became ‘Blackhouse’ in 2016 and has since been affecting cultural change in Fort Worth.
The house combines modern design with a historical feel, and offers a unique space that allows artist of all types to take full advantage of it's accessibility and charm.
With Fort Worth's city scape as it's backdrop, the Blackhouse is a short drive from Sundance Square. It is minutes away from the Fort Worth Stockyards, Water Gardens, Riverside District and the West 7th area, as well as a range of fine city hotels and restaurants.
The remodeled interiors, by founders Noel & Sara Viramontes complete with beautiful finishes and fixtures, make the Blackhouse the perfect space for art & music events, weddings, conferences, parties, meetings and presentations.
